Why does the devil have horns?
Ever since the middle ages, the popular idea of the devil has included red horns, a pitchfork, and a tail. No one is quite sure where the idea of horns for the devil came from, but some suggest that it was inspired by the Greek god Pan.
Pan was half man and half goat, and he combined a mischievous, fun-loving attitude with a real sense of danger beneath his lazy ways. It's from Pan that we get the word "panic." If that's the impression you want to give this Halloween, or for any costume party, you definitely need some flashing devil horns.
Finish up the costume!
A pair of flashing glitter horns will give you a devilish air, but you can take it further. Add glow accessories like bracelets and necklaces, fashion a tail with a red 22" twister necklace, and attach glowlights to your costume in strategic places.
